My journey: finding my love for the game again
It all began with a catch in the backyard. My dad and I would go out most nights, nothing more than tossing a ball back and forth, and somewhere in those afternoons I fell in love with the game. A few years of town ball turned into club lacrosse — and that's when I realized this might be more than something I just loved. I was actually good at it.
Once I saw that, everything changed. I started chasing something bigger: playing at the college level. However, I soon struggled with confidence and structure, and lost some of my love for the game. Finding a mentor changed everything for me. Their guidance got me where I needed to be, reigniting my passion and helping me achieve my dreams.
